PropertyBenalmadena® was established by Daniel Martinez. Born in London to Spanish parents, Daniel possesses a unique dual perspective, bridging British and Spanish cultures seamlessly. His professional background is rooted in scientific rigor; he holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiology and an MSc in Forensic Science from King’s College London.

Before transitioning to real estate, Daniel enjoyed a distinguished career as a Registered Clinical Scientist and Senior Forensic Toxicologist at the National Poisons Unit (Guy’s and St Thomas’). There, he specialized in investigating clinical and forensic intoxications—specifically focusing on SSRIs, SNRIs, and cyanide analysis. His experience providing detailed reports for HM Coroners and law enforcement has remained ingrained in his  services throughout the years and reflects in how PropertyBenalmadena® operates with the highest level of precision and integrity.

After a decade of dedicated service in toxicology, and having declined a PhD opportunity, I made the strategic decision to relocate to Malaga. This was a significant pivot in my trajectory. Upon arriving, I didn’t just join the real estate sector; I studied it. I immersed myself in the Costa del Sol market with a laser focus on Benalmadena. Simultaneously, fueled by my analytical background, I worked part-time within a reputable law firm to master the intricacies of Spanish real estate law.
